We understand that there may be times when you are unable to fulfill your staff responsibilities, prompting the need to request a Leave of Absence. There are various reasons why such a leave might be necessary, ranging from personal matters to scheduled holidays. Below, you will find information on how to request a Leave of Absence, as well as the associated guidelines.
These guidelines are in place to ensure that the process is transparent, consistent, and fair for all.
Leave of Absences cannot exceed 3 months in duration. If an extension beyond this period is required, individuals may consider retirement from the staff team or a reduction in shifts, subject to approval by management. Further details can be found in the Activity Information section.
Leave of absences are not required for durations of less than 7 days.
Leave of Absences cannot be requested to fulfill staff duties within another server.
You reserve the right to refrain from providing detail in your Leave of Absence request. However, we advise that if possible, you provide additional information for the reviewal process.
You must provide an honest reason for your Leave of Absence. Submitting false information could result in a staff infraction and denial of your Leave of Absence request.
Leave of Absence Agreement: By being on a Leave of Absence, you agree and acknowledge that you can still be terminated from our staff team even while on a Leave of Absence. You also agree and recognize that the management team reserves the right to deny your Leave of Absence for any reason deemed appropriate and can terminate your Leave of Absence at any time if they believe you are in violation of the guidelines above.
