Reinstatement

If you choose to retire from our staff team but want to come back because your situation may have changed, then reinstatement allows you to do just that without needing to re-apply.
Reinstatement Guidelines
There are guidelines that you need to follow if you chose to reinstate.
You have 3 months from the point of retirement to choose to reinstate. If you decide you want to reinstate after this 3-month period, then you will need to re-apply.
You cannot reinstate back onto the staff team if you have been terminated.
If you have retired and reinstated a few times, you may not be allowed to rejoin the staff team. This guideline is only considered as a reason to not let you rejoin the staff team if you have retired and reinstated more than 2 times.
If you choose to reinstate, you are not guaranteed to be given your old position back. It is quite common that you will be brought back at a rank lower than what you were previously at.
Reinstatements are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. You won't always be allowed to reinstate onto the staff team. The person reviewing your reinstatement request has the final say on whether or not you can rejoin the staff team.
Reinstatement Process
The process to reinstate is similar to retiring from the staff team but in reverse.
You will need to contact the Head of Staff Operations, 2Txccq (1111495242470936747), and submit a request to reinstate onto the staff team.
Your reinstatement request will typically be responded to within 1-2 days. The person handling your reinstatement request may ask questions about your activity levels moving forward.
If your reinstatement is accepted, a decision will be made regarding the position you will be given. It may not always be your previous position, as per the guideline above.
Once a decision has been made, you will be given the required roles, permissions, and access to staff resources and channels. We advise that you familiarize yourself with everything before starting your moderation duties, as policies, guidelines, and procedures may have changed.
