As unfortunate as it may be, the time may come when you need to retire from our staff team. If you find yourself needing to retire, please read below as it will describe the process on how to do so.
Retirement Process
The process to retire is simple. However, failure to follow it could cause delays.
If you have made the decision to retire from our staff team, you will need to contact the Head of Staff Operations, 2Txccq (1111495242470936747). You will need to include the reason for retirement. If the reason is personal, you reserve the right to give as little detail as you feel comfortable with sharing.
Once your request to retire is received, you can typically expect a response within 1-2 days.
Upon receiving a response about your retirement request, there will be a discussion about alternative options to retiring, such as Leave of Absences, Shift Reductions, etc.
If you are still wanting to retire, then your request will be approved and your roles, permissions and access to staff resources and channels will be removed.
If at any point you choose to retire from our staff team, then we wish you the best in your future endeavors. Please note that you can reinstate back into the staff team within 3 months of your retirement. Read the Reinstatement section for more information.
