Staff Policies
This page was last reviewed on January 19, 2025.
Within the WoodCarver State Roleplay Staff team, we uphold Staff Policies and Guidelines. Policies serve as a formal means of distinguishing between accepted and unacceptable behavior within our staff team. Guidelines, on the other hand, demonstrate how something should be done or provide information on specific topics. It is mandatory to follow all policies and guidelines. The Staff Guidelines listed below will be numbered, and most of them are repeated within the respective sections of this Staff Handbook. The Staff Policies listed below will be numbered and are only located here.
Code of Conduct Policy
This section is for the policies relating to staff member expectations.
1.1
Your behavior and actions within our server or other servers must align with our standards. Act professionally and treat all members with respect. Avoid rude or disruptive behavior. Do not speak negatively about other servers within our server or other servers.
1.2
Do not engage in excessive swearing, use offensive language, or encourage any drama in our server or any other servers.
1.3
You must follow the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines of both Roblox and Discord at all times.
1.4
You must follow our in-game and Discord rules at all times.
1.5
Be prepared to moderate when required, especially during increased mod calls or when other staff members are on short breaks. Moderation takes priority.
1.6
Staff conversations must be kept within designated staff channels. Do not conduct staff discussions in public channels or voice channels.
1.7
Use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar in-game. While this is not required for general conversations on Discord, it is necessary when answering members' questions. Do not purposely provide incorrect information to members; if unsure, either refrain from responding or find and relay the correct information later.
1.8
Do not share images, videos, etc., of any staff resources, assets, or procedures, in line with our confidentiality policy. Stay updated with all changes to the staff team, resources, and assets, and review these changes as it is your responsibility.
1.9
Do not assign yourself or others roles or permissions without reason, and do not edit or delete roles unless authorized by management.
1.10
Represent our staff team in a manner that reflects positively on the server and the team. Avoid showing favoritism towards members, regardless of your relationship with them, especially when taking moderation actions. Ensure that you issue the appropriate moderation actions based on the situation and context.
Confidentiality Policy
This section is for the policies relating to the sharing of staff resources and assets.
2.1
You are not to share the link to any staff resources or assets on any platform with anyone who isn't a current staff member. This includes retired and terminated staff members.
2.2
You are not to screen share, take screenshots of, post images or videos of, or discuss any content within any of the staff resources or assets on any platform with anyone who isn't a current staff member. This includes retired and terminated staff members.

This Confidentiality Policy remains in effect even after you're no longer a member of our staff team, as you may still have access to certain staff resources or assets. If you're found to be discussing or sharing any staff resources, assets or procedures in any capacity when you're no longer a member of our staff team, you could face additional moderation actions, such as removal from our server.

You must wear the appropriate staff uniform during priority shifts. While roleplaying and moderating at the same time, it is not required.
